I just rewatched The Bourne Identity and realised how similar they look. I found a quick comparison pic, it's pretty close:

I think Fairley has more prominent cheekbones. They're both lovely women.

Actually, Joan Allen was never in Bourne Identity. I think you are referring to Supremacy. Her character, Pamela Landy, is the Deputy Director of CIA and becomes involved in the plot after one of her operations gets sabotaged by an assassin who uses Bourne's fingerprints as a decoy. It is then that she finds out about Bourne and the covert ops Treadstone and Blackbriar.

Getting back to the topic, yeah I see some resemblance.

Michelle Fairley is awesome and seems so friendly. She also has a pretty good sense of humor according to her joke at ComicCon where she joked about her and Richard Madden always being naked in their trailer...or she is very open lol.

Yeah I liked her in the comic con panel, and yeah I think she's awesome too. I really like her voice, and she seems like she has a down-to-earth and nice personality. I'm actually oddly attracted to her for a woman of her age.
